Macro Monday

Happy Monday everyone! Why is it that the weekends always seem to fly by? Never enough time to get anything done! This past weekend I shot a wedding! While there I snuck in a couple of shots from one of their hanging basket flowers! I thought it was so pretty & elegant. And really like the way it turned out. Enjoy!

Gorgeous shot! I love the soft tones here! :)

Macro Monday – Lilacs of the Valley

Lilacs are another one of my FAVORITE flowers. They are so pretty and delicate. I just wish they would last longer. Seems like all these spring flowers bloom for such a short time. I have some huge lilac bushes at the bottom of my driveway & they are finally blooming. I need to go down there again, but this is what I have so far!

On a side note: Who wants the chance to win free stuff??? As you know I am on Etsy and in this group with some other amazing women and we have put together 2 treasury’s to give away. The first set has 16 different prints by 16 different photographers and the other treasury has 16 different items, which include prints, post cards and jewlery. I have donated a print in the 1st treasury. So all you have to do for your chance to win is comment below each treasury and we will pick a winner. If you win, the items will be shipped to your house! Sounds like fun eh! Here are the links:

Beautiful! I found a bunch tonight that had a flower with 5 petals instead of 4….Is that like finding a 4-leaf clover?! I am hoping to use these in the wedding somehow ;-) We’ll see what Kel thinks.
