25 Days of Christmas

Hard to believe this yr is almost over and there is only 22 days left until Christmas! This yr I have been working hard on homemade ornament, garland and many other projects. We got a really nice real tree this year and everything looks awesome on it! I am really happy with it as I have never been a very “crafty” person. But thanks to Pinterest, that is changed!

I have challenged myself and a friend to post a picture a day until Christmas. I have called mine the 25 days of Christmas. Here are my first 2 days of Christmas. I am not sure I will blog everyday, but I will post on my Facebook everyday, then maybe blog every 2 or 3 days.

I hope you all take the time to really enjoy this time time of year. I can not WAIT for snow! I keep checking the weather forecast to see when we are going to get some snow, like a little kid that sits in front of the window. The snow is my sunshine! This month I plan to make memories, start tradition’s, take time with my kids and really enjoy it. Not to get caught up in all the hassle and bussle. Watch Christmas movies and drink hot coca! My house is decorated to the hilt, some might say, Santa has thrown up in here, lol! But it’s perfect for us! Merry Christmas!

Etsy Store and this crazy thing we call life!

Wow, it’s hard to believe it’s been almost a month since my last blog post. I have been crazy busy with fall sessions and just life in general. I have had a couple of personal family matters to try and understand and so blogging gets put on the back burner. I have had many sessions that I have done but have not posted. One of these days I will be all caught up, I might be 50 before it happens, but some day I will be caught up! In the meantime, I have been busy adding new Christmas themed prints to my Etsy Shop. I have also designed an AWESOME nature calendar. It is 4×6 and comes with a black easel. It’s a PERFECT Christmas gift for someone or for yourself. It fits perfectly on your desk or on the dresser. Another thing I have been going crazy on is Christmas crafts. I have already made home made ornaments, the start of some garland and Christmas Trees. I have lots of thoughts and ideas that I want to try and bake this holiday season. I can owe most of this to Pinterest. Never heard of Pinterest before, well you NEED to check it out, but I warn you, it’s addicting. I am pretty sure it’s almost as addicting to crack, lol! But it is So MUCH fun! As if our lives were not crazy enough we decided and I caved into getting ANOTHER dog! I think I have totally done mental to be frank. Family of 5

This family sure has grown over the past couple of years! I have watched them grow over the past few years and was excited when mom contacted me again this year, she wanted to mentally prepare me that their family had grown by 2 more little ones! We meet at the park on a beautiful and WARM afternoon! I had so much fun laughing and playing with them! We are all so busy and consumed with work, projects, how clean our house is, we need to take time to enjoy the little things in life, and this is def one of them!

Halloween

With Halloween right around the corner I thought I would take a few pics of my Halloween decor. Just like Christmas I have a Halloween village, it’s not nearly as big and doesn’t take the whole weekend to set up but it’s fun just the same! It is hard to believe my fall decor will be coming down next week & my Christmas stuff will be coming out! CRAZY! However, I am looking forward to the winter prediction, lol!

My grandma made me these painted figures. I LOVE them! I remember when we went together to the pottery store, I picked out what I wanted her to paint and she painted them all for me. I have LOTS of painted things that my grandmother has painted over the years.

Number 4

This lovely couple is expecting number 4, yup that’s right number 4 and look how amazing she looks! We had tons of fun and I really enjoyed our time together! They are so sweet and still so much in love! I can’t wait to meet their little one!
