Playing Catch Up

As promised here are a few sessions from 2011 that I never got around to blogging. I do have more, but didn’t want to over do it. The others will be in another post! Enjoy!

A new year — A fresh Start

The thing I love most about a new year is there are always so many new opportunities. A time to start over, a time to start something new, a time to try and make things better. I love the new year. With this new year I have made myself a new blog. Well technically I didn’t make it, but I made it my own! And I am IN LOVE with it! There are many new things on here and things that I can change all by myself! Which makes me very happy! If you get a chance, sit back look around and enjoy! I have realized through all this new blog business just how  terrible I was about  blogging last yr. There’s  a ton of personal images and a lot of client sessions that I just didn’t have time or should I say make the time to post them! It’s hard to find the right balance. Hopefully I can post some of those shortly because I had some AWESOME session with some beautiful people in 2011. And I know 2012 is going to be even greater! Every year I vow to make it better then the last as I am always learning and growing myself, not only with photography but with life. I am so excited for the 2012 yr and can’t wait to capture more amazing memories for old clients and new! Thank you to everyone in 2011 for letting me capture your beautiful moments. It really is an honor and I can’t thank you enough!!!

And because every post needs a picture or two or three, lol, here is one of, if not my FAVORITE personal images from this past Summer! We took our big boat out to Grand Haven to do some fishing and then docked the boat for some beach fun! I absolutely LOVE LOVE these images of my family! My whole entire world is in here! Oh how I love them all!

You are making me wish it was Christmas all over again!!! These are absolutely gorgeous pics. It is so warm here. :( I would love to look out my window and see a snow-kissed tree like that!

25 Days of Christmas – Days 3 – 12

Well what can I say except it’s been CRAZY busy! This past weekend I did tons of baking and I have been busy tying up odds and ends along with designing and ordering Christmas cards, except my own of course, lol!  However, I have been a little bummed that we haven’t had much for snow. It just doesn’t feel much like Christmas with no snow:(. I am starting to doubt we will have a white Christmas. No sense in complaining about it as Christmas will come,  snow or no snow! I have been however very happy that I have actually been posting a picture per day on Facebook. Whoot, I defiantly get a high five for that, ha ha! Here are days 3-12, enjoy I am having lots of fun at this project!

Is there anything you honestly cannot photograph and turn into amazing art? SERIOUSLY? TEACH ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW!!! :D Love your project!

25 Days of Christmas

Hard to believe this yr is almost over and there is only 22 days left until Christmas! This yr I have been working hard on homemade ornament, garland and many other projects. We got a really nice real tree this year and everything looks awesome on it! I am really happy with it as I have never been a very “crafty” person. But thanks to Pinterest, that is changed!

I have challenged myself and a  friend  to post a picture a day until Christmas. I have called mine the 25 days of Christmas. Here are my first 2 days of Christmas. I am not sure I will blog everyday, but I will post on my Facebook everyday, then maybe blog every 2 or 3 days.

I hope you all take the time to really enjoy this time time of year. I can not WAIT for snow! I keep checking the weather forecast to see when we are going to get some snow, like a little kid that sits in front of the window. The snow is my sunshine! This month I plan to make memories, start tradition’s, take time with my kids and really enjoy it. Not to get caught up in all the hassle and bussle. Watch Christmas movies and drink hot coca! My house is decorated to the hilt, some might say, Santa has thrown up in here, lol! But it’s perfect for us! Merry Christmas!
