Mitochondrial Disease may not be something that you have heard of before. When someone has this disease it can be devastating, the body is unable to to produce the necessary amount of energy to maintain the day to day functions of the body. There are many side effects of this disease and can delay normal growth. I have a friend from high school who’s daughter, Payton has “mito” and has been working endlessly to raise awareness to help fight this disease. This Sept 25th they are having a charity riding event to help raise money. I am proud to be apart of this wonderful charity for the second year in a row. This yr I will be donating 1 session w/ a complimentary 11×14, along w/ one of my custom made calendars. There will be many cool activities such as face paining, a bounce house even a couple of concerts. It will be held at Cedar Springs Practice Track where they will be riding dirt bikes! Riders sign in at 8am and activities start at 11am. So come on out and support a wonderful cause!
Here is the website with all of the info and make sure you read about Payton’s story! Of course no post would be complete w/out a picture…Here are a pictures of the lovely Payton herself!!
